Grants Manager and Donor Services Specialist
“I enjoy meeting with non-profits to hear how they are serving the community. Additionally, I enjoy meeting with donors to hear their passion on helping to make a difference in the community.” – Annette Smith, Grants Manager and Donor Services Specialist
Annette Smith, Grants Manager and Donor Services Specialist, has been with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne since August of 2009. She is responsible for processing grant applications and coordinating materials for the Grant Review Committee along with providing support to donors. Annette and two of her coworkers at Lincoln were acknowledged for bringing IPFW classes into the workplace with offering prepaid tuition to employees. Annette and her husband, of 39 years, live north of Fort Wayne. They have one daughter, Jamie. She is married to her high school sweetheart and they have three children. Annette loves spending time with her grandchildren because they help keep life in perspective with their innocent viewpoints and enthusiasm for life. At the end of each day, Annette watches comedy and believes it is a good thing to laugh before going to sleep. Annette enjoys the comedy of Chevy Chase, Steve Martin, Dan Ackroyd, John Candy, Ray Romano, and Tim Allen but some of the best comedy skits of all time were on the Carol Burnett show with Tim Conway and Harvey Korman.
