Nyke Bounket

“I love Fort Wayne. I am excited to make an impact in our community, especially by helping to eliminate barriers between students and their academic success.” – Nyke Bounket, Grants and Scholarships Assistant

Nyke Bounket, Grants and Scholarships Assistant, has been with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne since May of 2022. He is responsible for assisting with verifying, maintaining, and awarding scholarships and grants to qualifying students and organizations.

Nyke graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in English Literature and a minor in Anthropology. He started his career in the Peace Corps during his undergrad years. However, COVID prevented him from volunteering. Nyke has been in customer service during his entire working life. He was a GroupX Fitness Instructor at the Purdue Co-Rec (gym) and a Branch Assistant at the Allen County Public Library. Most of his career has been community-based, focusing on patron interaction, guest experiences, and educating others.

Born in Great Falls, Montana, Nyke was raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He enjoys spending time with his loved ones and his cat, Olive. If Nyke is not enjoying American Literature or coming up with essay ideas, you can find him visiting national parks and practicing gratitude.
