A Best Practices Seminar
This Seminar, sponsored by Foellinger Foundation, will be facilitated by Johnson, Grossnickle and Associates (JGA). JGA provides strategic and philanthropic services to nonprofit organizations and foundations. Their staff have also served their own nonprofit organizations as fundraising volunteers. In addition, community volunteers and Foellinger Stewardship Award nominees Dawn Galloway and David Storey, who have each served as presidents of nonprofit organizations, will share their fundraising experiences.
The Seminar will share best practices in nonprofit board leadership in fundraising. It will include:
The Seminar will be conducted in two very interactive sessions Monday, August 28 and September 11, both sessions from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne (555 E. Wayne Street). A brief pre-read of materials will be sent to participants before the first session. At the second session, the results of actual donor calls discussed at the first meeting and conducted by the time of the second meeting will be discussed. Participants must attend both sessions.
Seating is limited to 36 attendees (maximum of two nonprofit board members only from any Allen County 501(c)3 public charity).
