“One of my favorite things about the Community Foundation is how everyone cares about everyone and their lives. It’s a small office and it’s like a family. Another favorite of mine is that my days are never the same and I love getting to have a new adventure every single day.” – Lisa Pickerman, Senior Impact Advisor

Lisa Pickerman, Senior Impact Advisor, has been with the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne since January of 2017.
Lisa graduated from Indiana Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She started her career in banking where she worked for nine years before moving on to recruiting as an office administrator for four years. Lisa planned on being a stay at home mom but as it always can, life dealt her family a few twists and turns, and she came to work for the Community Foundation in 2017. Lisa is responsible for the competitive grant cycle which includes everything from accepting concept letters to applications to processing funding for the grants. She also goes on site visits to learn where each organization is standing financially and to learn what new programs they are venturing into. Lisa is responsible for the scholarships that the Community Foundation provides. She receives the applications and passes them on to the committees who recommend the students for awards.
Lisa and her husband, Mark, have three beautiful children: Dexter, Ciara, and Archer. If Lisa isn’t spending time with her family, then you can usually find her with her nose in a book or crocheting.
