The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne is pleased to announce that its 2026 scholarship program is open. Students can now apply for more than 75 scholarship opportunities through the Foundation’s Universal Scholarship Application.
The Universal Application simplifies the scholarship process by allowing students to complete only one application while being considered for multiple scholarships—each with its own unique purpose and story. Many of these scholarships were established by generous donors to honor or remember loved ones, support specific fields of study, and expand access to education for students across Allen County.
“Every scholarship tells a story,” said Jaren Stevens, Senior Donor Engagement Specialist. “Behind each award is a donor who wanted to create opportunity, remove barriers, and invest in the potential of students in our community.”
Through the Universal Application, students can connect with scholarships aligned to a wide range of academic interests, career paths, and personal backgrounds. Opportunities are available for high school seniors, current college students, and non-traditional learners, reflecting the diverse educational journeys within the region.

Application Deadline: April 1, 2026*
*Some scholarship deadlines occur before April 1. Applicants are encouraged to reviewindividual scholarship requirements carefully.
A small number of scholarships operate outside of the Universal Application and require a separate application. Details about these opportunities are available in the scholarship brochure. Students are encouraged to visit the Foundation’s Scholarship Portal or contact the Community Foundation for additional guidance.
