For more than a decade, the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne has led an annual campaign to strengthen Agency Endowment Funds through our Gifts from the Heart brochure. This effort helps fundholders invest in the long-term sustainability of local nonprofits—ensuring the organizations our community depends on today will remain strong for generations to come.
We later expanded this work through our Giving Tuesday Campaign, directly engaging nonprofit partners to amplify endowment giving across our region.
Today, CFGFW is home to over 100 Agency Endowment Funds, each representing a commitment to lasting community impact. In 2025, our Giving Tuesday and Gifts from the Heart campaigns generated $373,434.20 including Community Foundation matching dollars for agency endowments. We are deeply grateful to our fundholders, whose generosity accounted for $124,977 of these gifts—demonstrating the power of partnership and shared purpose.
In addition, between November 1 and December 31, 2025, our Donor Advised Funds distributed $3,410,461.58 to nonprofits, supporting critical programs, services, and initiatives across Allen County and beyond.
