May 23, 2023 – The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne recognized the departure of four board members and elected three new members to its board of directors, as well as installed officers for the 2023-2024 fiscal year. The new board members are:
Stephanie Carper – Tax Director, FORVIS
Jason Knothe – Chief Operating Officer, JH Specialty Inc.
Nikki Quintana – Executive Director, City of Fort Wayne Metropolitan Human Relations Commission
The 2023-2024 officers of the board are:

Vice Chair – Sherry Early, MPA, MS, Executive Director, Incremental Development Alliance

“It is always hard to say goodbye to departing board members; Todd Jacobs, Heather Schoegler, and Doug Wood made tremendous contributions during their tenure,” said President and CEO Brad Little. “We are excited to welcome three new board members who we know are passionate about our community and will serve the Community Foundation well.”
A special thank you is extended to resigning board member James Cook for his service and leadership to the Community Foundation.
The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne does three things: help people make their charitable giving more impactful, connect funding to nonprofits through effective grantmaking, and provide leadership to address community needs to improve quality of life. The organization connects people and resources daily to build a more vibrant community. As of December 31, 2022, the Community Foundation held charitable assets of approximately $194 Million and awarded more than $9 million in charitable grants and scholarships throughout the same year.
