Nonprofit leaders know how vital it is to have strong, engaged boards in order to make a real difference in their communities. But keeping board members motivated and connected isn’t easy, especially with changing membership, busy schedules, and limited opportunities to meet.
The Northeast Indiana Funders Collective is here to help with a new quarterly series of free luncheons called “60 Minutes.” Each session packs networking, a keynote from a subject matter expert, and a Q&A with foundation leaders into just one hour—complete with a provided lunch! Attendance is limited to two people per organization and capped at 50 attendees to ensure a meaningful experience.
The first event took place on October 18th at AWS Foundation and featured guest speaker Kathy Roudebush, Foundress of Board Brilliant. As a Board Source-certified nonprofit governance trainer and experienced attorney, Kathy shared practical tips to improve board culture and governance.
