“I have always heard great things about the Foundation—not only about its impact in the community but also about how it values and supports its staff. I am excited for the opportunity to apply my skills to work that truly makes a difference in the place I call home.”

Brittany Garland joined the Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne in April 2025 as the Events & Engagement Specialist. In this role, she is responsible for planning and executing the Foundation’s social and educational events, helping to foster meaningful connections within the community.

Brittany holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Purdue University Fort Wayne. She began her career at Vera Bradley, where she spent 20 years growing with the company—from starting as an intern to eventually serving as the Retail Brand Experience Creative Project Manager.

Outside of work, Brittany and her husband stay busy with their (soon to be) two sons and golden retriever. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors gardening, camping, kayaking, and fishing, and they love exploring local events and farmers’ markets during the summer.
