Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne Announces Leadership Promotions

The Community Foundation of Greater Fort Wayne is pleased to announce the promotion of Colleen Helmken to Chief Marketing and Communications Officer and Kiley Tate-Potts to Chief Philanthropy Officer, reflecting the Foundation’s continued investment in strategic leadership, community impact, and long-term sustainability.

In her new role as Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, Helmken will continue to lead the Foundation’s brand strategy, donor and community communications, and marketing initiatives that support philanthropy throughout Allen County. Since joining the Community Foundation, Helmken has played a central role in strengthening the foundation’s voice, elevating donor and nonprofit engagement, and supporting major initiatives, including endowment-building campaigns, GivingTuesday efforts, and signature community events.

As Chief Philanthropy Officer, Tate-Potts will oversee the Foundation’s philanthropic services, donor engagement, and charitable planning strategies. In this expanded leadership role, she will guide efforts to support donors, fundholders, and professional advisors in achieving meaningful, values-aligned impact. Tate Potts has been instrumental in advancing relationship-based philanthropy and helping donors navigate both immediate community needs and long-term giving goals.
