Rising Together Grants: Connected Community

Rising Together Grants: Connected Community

Strong communities are built through connection, belonging, and opportunities for people to engage with one another. This year’s Connected Community grant applications reflected a wide range of efforts designed to bring people together, strengthen relationships, and foster deeper community engagement across Northeast Indiana.

Volunteer committee members reviewed 18 applications and recommended $298,291 in funding to 16 organizations supporting programs and initiatives throughout the region. Applications reflected a shared commitment to strengthening neighborhoods, building cross-cultural connections, expanding accessible programming, and reducing isolation across our communities.

Together, these projects represent meaningful investments in creating a more connected and welcoming region.
